Joanna is fluent in musicology and music theory and is very good at teaching theory principles such as stave/keys/time signatures/expressive techniques. She is fluent in tablature, confident in notation and production, She is currently studying music at JMC Academy.
Joanna achieved a 94 in HSC Music 1 (recognised as a “highly distinguished achiever””)
She completed level 5 of the rock AMEB syllabus on guitar and has composed multiple original songs and compositions that she released commercially on SoundCloud, spreading across multiple genres including classical, pop, and indie ballads.
She has completed 2 years of an education major at Macquarie university before transferring to JMC for a more music focused degree.
Joanna expresses herself with empathy and clarity, taking care to design the best lessons for her students. She teaches in the Narrabeen, Collaroy and Elanora Heights areas.
