Luke has been an active member of many school and community bands since Year 3, starting piano lessons at the age of 5 and trumpet at the age of 8. He has knowledge of a variety of musical styles like classical, jazz and pop.
In addition to his musical experience, Luke volunteers weekly during the nipper season teaching the nippers water safety skills and preparing some to be junior lifesavers, demonstrating his passion to work and educate children.
Having completed the Duke of Edinburgh bronze and silver award, soon to complete gold, highlights his dedication and commitment to his skills and to the community.
Luke is a patient, friendly, and encouraging teacher who adapts to his students’ personalities and capabilities. He is happy and keen to teach trumpet or piano in a fun and engaging environment.
